What an amazing wife!  We had a great weekend with nieces, nephews, hipsters and good friends!  Couldn't ask for anything better.

Caucus Night in MN...

     Rep. Jean Wagenius came out to speak to the 8th precinct DFL caucus.  Jean spoke about the importance of speaking with your neighbors about the issues that are important to you. 

      A different kind of representative spoke to the crowd at Hale Elementary School about his co-workers at the local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  There was a sense of frustration as 30-40% unemployment and 3-year lapses of work were discussed.

    Katina was named a delegate to the City and Senate District Caucuses and I had a resolution passed in favor of tax breaks for stores carrying >20% USA made goods.  Not a bad night for our first caucus in the new neighborhood!
